10 Secrets to Building Trust and Credibility with Your Customers

For any business, the assets that are very important are trust and credibility. Winning the customer’s credibility and trust is basically the job of an account manager. For making better decisions the customer gets help from the account manager. It will be possible for the customers to get better results if they take certain actions and for taking those actions the account manager encourages them. Now I am going to tell you 10 secrets to build trust and credibility with your customers.

1.If the customer doesn’t take interest in a solution, then don’t sell it – If at an affordable cost you can’t offer a good solution to the customer then don’t sell it to him. When you already know that it is not possible to get a good outcome from a solution then proposing it to the customers will not be a good idea. Be faithful to the customers always.

2.Don’t represent the service or product’s benefits, advantages and features in a wrong way – Just a proper functioning service or item that can meet the needs of the customers is not the requirement of the customers. You have to present all the reality about the service or product in front of the customers and then they will make a decision whether the service or product will be helpful to them or not.

3.If you are unable to deliver something then don’t promise to do that – If the customers are interested in certain services and products and you can’t deliver those services and products to them then don’t make any false promises to them. You can tell them that before a particular deadline you will deliver the product to them.

4.It will be unethical if you accept or offer gifts or bribes – If for offering better service and product you demand more money then the customers will not be happy with you. Along with this if you offer some gift to them with your product of poor quality then also the customers will not be happy. So, don’t accept or offer gifts or bribes.

5.In the same company’s all the departments the price of the item needs to remain consistent – If the customer discovers a discrepancy in the price of the items, then this can affect your relationship with him. He may no longer trust your company.

6.If after selling a service or product a problem occurs in it then instead of blaming anybody or making excuses go for fixing the issue – You may have made several promises for the services and products of your company. So, if after selling the product any issue occurs in it then it is your responsibility to resolve the issue. This will help you in maintaining the reputation of your company.

7.Withholding the bad news will not be good for you – If you will hide the bad news from the customers then it will not benefit you because one day the customers will know about it and at that time, they will be more upset than when they didn’t know about it.

8.Always show respect to your competitor and don’t use bad words for him – If you think that for presenting the services and products of your company in a good way, trash-talking about the competitor will be helpful then you are not thinking right. The behavior of this kind will make the customer think that you are immature.

9.Don’t steal the accounts of your team’s sales professionals – It is important for you that with your team’s sales professionals you maintain a relationship of trust instead of stealing their accounts.

10.Keep the promises that you have made – If you want to stay ahead of your competitors then it is important for you to keep the promises that you have made. If you want to know about internet marketing then take help from various digital marketing experts.
